Salvos Healthlink

Salvos Healthlink provides Allied Health services with professionals specialising in a broad range of therapeutic and direct health services to older Australians. The Clinic encourages clients to work closely with the expert team to develop a unique plan that’s tailored to their requirements. All services are available to both individuals and groups. 

The goal is to assist clients in improving their overall wellbeing and help them live independently in their own homes and within the community, with a focus on recovery, restoration and reablement.

Services:

• Physiotherapy
• Podiatry
• Remedial massage therapy
• Hydrotherapy
• Strength and balance exercises (individual and group sessions)
• Falls prevention exercises
• Walking groups
• Chair Yoga

The following people qualify for government-subsidised services at Salvos Healthlink:   

• People who are 65 years and over, or 50 years and over and identify as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
• People who would benefit from our services to improve or maintain their independence and mobility
• People who think therapy services will help them remain living in their own homes for as long as possible

To access government-subsidised services, all clients must first be registered with My Aged Care. The Salvos Healthlink team is happy to assist you with this if required. If you are already registered, you may contact My Aged Care directly on 1800 200 422 and request to be referred to Salvos Healthlink.
