Providing permanent care and specialist dementia care across three distinct units, Coppin Lodge, Colbran Lodge and Moubray House, Coppin Centre is supported with an array of allied health services from our Wellness Services. Complete with café, general store and hairdressing facilities Coppin Centre truly is a new level in combining care and lifestyle in a residential setting.
Coppin Lodge is our newly opened residential facility. Providing permanent care, Coppin Lodge aims to set a new standard in comfort and living environment. Each of the single rooms are fully furnished, including recliner and LCD television, and individually climate controlled. Suites comprise of separate living and bedroom areas for those that wish to enjoy the luxury of additional space. Complete with the latest in call bell and sensor technology, Coppin Lodge provides piece of mind by ensuring help is never too far away.
Colbran Lodge, is our newly refurbished specialised dementia care unit. In this warm, friendly and homelike environment, residents are provided with a wide range of dementia specific services and resources. We follow a person centered nursing model and develop a care plan, in consultation with relatives, carers and a multi professional team to meet the individual psycho-social needs of each client. We provide a specialised lifestyle program to complement the environment and care needs of the individual. It features a cosy central living room and comfortable dining areas reminiscent of the family home, which helps to minimise any feelings of disorientation or confusion. Each spacious bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, ample wardrobe space, air chair & LCD television with its own ensuite and tranquil garden vista. Our gardens have been designed in conjunction with Alzheimers Australia and our specialist staff.
Coppin Centre lifestyle staff pride themselves on providing a wide variety of lifestyle cice to complement the care received by our residents. Each resident will enjoy an individually tailored lifestyle program based on an extensive assessment conducted in conjunction with the resident, families, care & allied health staff.
Residents are welcome to participate in various group activities or simply sit back & relax in the numerous lounge areas across Coppin Centre. Residents are free to enjoy a movie in our theatre, a game of snooker in our sports lounge or cook up a storm in one of our cooking groups.
Located within Coppin Centre is our Wellness Service which provides allied health to residents of Coppin Centre, recipients of Royal Freemasons Community Care or the elderly living in home.
Services include day therapy, physiotherapy, speech pathology, occupational therapy, optometry, audiology, Dietitian & podiatry.
