The onsite Brian Jackson Community Centre features a library, fully equipped gym and a large outdoor area ideal for barbecues and alfresco dining, that residents can take full advantage of, especially during the warm season.  Residents are invited to participate in the lifestyle programs that suit their own needs.A range of resident activities take place in the centre including regular dinner nights, carpet bowls and card games. Donovan Village is co-located with a 65-bed residential care facility in Jeremiah Donovan House, which provides Village residents with a smooth transition into permanent residential care should the need arise. If a suitable place arises and there is a need for one, residents in the village may be offered first choice. Donovan Respite Centre is also in the same location, offering day and night support for dementia specific clients.
