Tucked next to the bowls club and purpose-designed for comfort, privacy and support, Regis Kirwan offers a thoughtful mix of lifestyle and contemporary aged care. With the bus stop minutes away, it is conveniently close to the city library, restaurants, clinics, Parkside Shopping Centre and the major Willows Shopping Centre.

Regis Kirwan provides specialise Dementia care and support for the frail aged, with the focus on meeting the needs of residents with a close personal approach. This is supported through Sensory Enrichment activities, our PARO therapy and lifestyle program with specialist staff delivering care and activities identified to enhance resident’s daily well-being.

With 125 places, including 122 as single rooms with ensuite and 3 shared double rooms with a shared ensuite, Regis Kirwan sets the standards for aged care in the Townsville region. Thirty places are reserved and especially outfitted for the care of people living with dementia. A limited number of concessional beds are available. The Karinga building has stunning views of Mt Stuart.

At our Day Therapy Centre in Cairns, we offer personalised, high-quality allied health care to encourage independent living and enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.

Designed to meet your individual needs, our Physiotherapy, Wellness and Reablement services assist you to maintain or restore your strength, balance, mobility and coordination. We have a range of engaging classes incorporating a variety of fitness equipment and exercises including Circuit Class, Osteo Stomp, Back Builders and Sizzling Seniors. Our programs can help you to recover from injury, manage ongoing medical conditions, improve confidence in completing everyday activities, and retain your independence while living at home.
