Bupa Aged Care
About Bupa Aged Care
Bupa exists to support people to lead longer, healthier, happier lives, and is one of Australia’s leading private residential aged care providers. Bupa Aged Care delivers an extensive range of care and support, including respite and specialised dementia care, to over 6,000 residents in more than 65 care homes across the country.
At Bupa Aged Care, we put the person first in everything we do. Knowing each resident and their families as individuals is fundamental to our ‘Person-First’ approach and this means we tailor our care to suit our residents’ needs and preferences, which is especially important for those living with dementia.
Our model of care is an industry-leading service model that provides residents with greater and more immediate access to medical services, and increased choice for how and where they receive care, creating better health and wellbeing outcomes. Residents will also have access to our in-home GP. At Bupa, we aim to provide more preventative care, reducing the need for hospitalisation and reassuring residents that professional medical help is right on hand.
With over 60 years’ experience across 190 countries, Bupa is a global organisation that supports in excess of 29 million people worldwide by providing health services such as dental and eye care, health insurance to meets peoples’ life stage needs, and care options as people age, including residential aged care.
We reinvest our profit into health and caring through improving the services we offer, educating our people and making improvements to our homes.
