Groundwater Lodge is a spacious, country-style aged care community situated in Maryborough. Set on leafy acreage, Groundwater has a relaxed and tranquil feel. Our newly refurbished Bottlebrush Household has 15 private suites, a welcoming and cosy lounge room, dining room and kitchenette, and beautiful homely touches.
Here, we focus on supporting each resident to maintain their interests, familiar routines and connections to the people and places they love. Our kind and compassionate Carers and Nurses are on-hand 24/7 providing holistic care tailored to each resident. To offer a more personalised living experience, our community is divided into smaller households that mirror the look and rhythm of home, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy. With a flexible approach to homemade meals and a meaningful lifestyle program, we support you to live your way.
Groundwater Lodge offers permanent care, respite care and memory support care in private suites, with their own ensuite. Each room opens directly onto an internal courtyard or a garden area with a covered patio that has space for seating and pot plants. Some suites are newly refurbished. Our memory support household offers residents lots of calming indoor spaces and a dementia-specific lifestyle program. Complete with traditional homely touches, like a piano, country-style sideboard and peaceful reading area, this household also has a large outdoor large outdoor area with raised garden beds, walking pathways and seating.
