Parkinson’s WA’s Parkinson’s Nurse Specialists provide home visits to clients across Perth and south-west WA. Home visits provide support in the management of Parkinson's, assessment, advice and education. Nurse specialists also visit residential care facilities as required.
The service has an open referral system, allowing people to self-refer. The Parkinson’s Nurse Specialist service is free of charge.
The Nurse Specialist Service is registered with NDIS to provide assessment of skills, abilities and needs for those people with Parkinson’s under 65 years and in locations within an NDIS trial.
