The Grace Munro Centre is an 11 place aged care facility located 47 kilometres from Inverell on the way to Armidale in the picturesque village of Bundarra overlooking the Gwydir River.
The Centre contains eleven single rooms with ensuites. Respite care is available at times. The Centre is located in a wonderful garden setting.
The Centre provides a friendly family-like environment supported by an experienced Registered Nurse Manager and careworkers with a high level of expertise and a caring approach to their work. There is lots of fun and laughter.
The Grace Munro Centre is co-located with the Bundarra Community Health Service (Hunter New England Area Health Service) and the Bundarra Multi Service Outlet (a Home and Community Care program).
This model of service provision has been applauded on a local, state and federal level as a 'best practice' model to ensure the sustainability of health care services to small rural communities.
