Located within the grounds of Woodlands Village is our residential aged care facility named Woodlands Lodge, which offers 24-hour care to 72 residents.
The Lodge has several different styles of rooms all with external access and 17 rooms have balconies offering an additional area for relaxing and watching the world go by. We are thrilled to be able to offer residential accommodation and care to “couples” who wish to remain together – a unique unit which has a kitchenette, ensuite, and two individual rooms that can used as a sitting room and bedroom or two bedrooms.
We have a dementia specific unit offering specialised care to residents. We offer a wide selection of meals over a four week rotating menu and all meals are cooked daily on-site.
There is a comprehensive program of social activities – including art and craft classes, entertainment from local school groups, musicians, dance groups, bus outings, movie afternoons, bingo, poetry readings, armchair travelling and many more. Something for everyone.
We are supported by our local clergy who provide a church service every Sunday on a rotating basis. The public library supplies us with books (many in large print) and these are routinely changed every few months.
There is a hairdressing salon within Woodlands Lodge and our hairdresser comes two days a week every week. Our wonderful band of volunteers compliment the work of our staff and assist in providing special care to our residents.
There is an easy walking grade pathway around Woodlands Lodge accessible for all residents to enjoy a leisurely stroll in the fresh air and enjoy the beautifully landscaped gardens.

Estia Health Tuncurry is a welcoming home located on a residential street in the picturesque coastal town of Tuncurry, situated close to public transport and shops and a short drive to Nine Mile Beach. The home offers a choice of care and services to the local community.
The home’s design features separate inter-connected ‘houses’, each with their own lounge and dining, creating safe and intimate community spaces. Other key features include a hairdressing salon, games rooms, library and a lifestyle program tailored around residents’ interests and hobbies, with an active Men’s Shed in the local community.
Estia Health Taree is a warm and welcoming home surrounded by landscaped gardens and walking paths, in a peaceful bushland setting opposite the Mayo Private Hospital. There is a bus stop at the door for the short drive to the shops and services of Taree town centre.
The home’s Memory Support Unit provides a safe and supportive environment for residents requiring additional support and has its own courtyard that borders a horse paddock. The onsite Wellness Centre offers residents the opportunity to access allied services as part of their care.
Estia Health Forster is a welcoming home in the charming seaside town of Forster. Set back from the main road, close to shops and with a bus stop at the door, the home sits among tranquil landscaped gardens which overlook the neighbouring lake.
Extensive landscaped gardens are used regularly by residents, their family and visitors for alfresco dining. Other features of the home include a very popular cafe, cinema, chapel holding regular services and gym room utilised by visiting allied health professionals.
Estia Health Tea Gardens is a modern and stylish single-level home, surrounded by landscaped gardens and natural bushland. Located in a quiet residential area just off Myall Street, it sits in front of a small lake, close to the beach and Myall lakes.
Rooms are all spacious singles with ensuite, many with views of the garden and courtyard, and the home has many beautiful features, including a library, large central activities room used for exercise classes a cinema and several small sunrooms.
