MercyCare strives to make our facilities feel as close as possible to a home-from-home. MercyCare Rockingham, located in a quiet cul-de-sac, is welcoming and comfortable for both residents and visitors. MercyCare employees provide a happy, vibrant atmosphere and cultivate a community spirit.
Upon entering the 54 room residency, visitors are drawn to the dining room which overlooks a beautiful courtyard perfect for relaxing next to a water feature. Beyond the living area, you will find a quiet, well-appointed library, overlooking another tranquil garden, where residents can enjoy a peaceful reading session or simply relax on the comfortable couches provided. Perhaps the only distraction is the aroma wafting from the dining room as the onsite chef and the catering team serve up an array of culinary delights, ranging from traditional to classic dishes, six times a day.
The generously sized single bedrooms (ranging from 13 to 18 sqm) have their own private ensuite bathroom. Features include an electric, adjustable bed, an easily accessible built-in wardrobe, reverse cycle air conditioning/heating to ensure year round comfort, a centrally monitored response system and a wall mounted TV.
A wide variety of leisure activities are offered to cater for individual interests and tastes and to engage with the wider community.
In addition to providing a home-away-from-home, MercyCare Rockingham offers the following services at no extra cost: specialist dedicated pastoral care, occupational therapy, physical therapy and hand and body massage. Optional extras, which are not included in the accommodation rate for the room, include hairdressing, a tagging service for electrical appliances and a daily or weekly newspaper.
