Lorocco is located in a quiet and convenient setting adjacent a waterway which connects with Bulimba Creek and is situated in close proximity to shopping centres, hospitals, specialist services and the Brisbane CBD, making it an ideal place to call home. The atmosphere at Lorocco is warm and welcoming and access for visitors and residents is easy. Lorocco provides specialist dementia & palliative care with comfort and convenience. Lorocco features 50 well-appointed spacious single suites with private ensuites. “The Terrace” is a boutique home that provides specialist dementia care for 17 residents in a secure environment. The remaining 33 beds are available to care for residents with varying care needs. Each bedroom suite at Lorocco includes a private ensuite and easy access to communal areas. Most suites also have direct access to a private patio where residents can enjoy the outdoors and soak up some sunshine.
We have fully trained nursing staff looking after our residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our care staff are well supported by Lorocco’s physiotherapists and other health professionals including GPs, podiatrists, and dieticians. Our P.E.R.S.O.N. philosophy supports person-centred care for our residents ensuring their privacy, independence, dignity and self-worth as they age.
Residents have access to a range of activities including movies, concerts, games and theme days which are held regularly for residents’ enjoyment. All of the meals served at Lorocco are freshly cooked on-site by experienced chefs. There is a hairdressing service available and access to email and internet services. Vacenti’s Con Noi retirement complex is located next door which makes this an ideal combination for partners who wish to continue their close relationships. Lorocco is a non-smoking facility.
