Kalyra Woodcroft is the only aged care home in Australia co-located with a school, Southern Montessori Middle School, offering a truly unique intergenerational community.

Fully renovated in 2019-20, Kalyra Woodcroft is an established 88-bed facility, conveniently located in Morphett Vale, offering a quality alternative for residential aged care for older people living in Adelaide's south. Set on spacious grounds, residents are accommodated in single rooms, each with ensuite bathrooms, in a home-like environment. Offering comprehensive ageing in place, Kalyra Woodcroft also hosts a dedicated 27-room memory support unit that provides specifically tailored programs with the security of knowing these residents are safe within their own environment.
Kalyra Woodcroft employs a wide range of skilled professional staff, with registered nurses available around the clock. The staff profile includes a Director of Care, Care Manager, Clinical Nurse, Registered and Enrolled Nurses and Careworkers. The clinical and care staff are supported by the Lifestyle, Hospitality, Maintenance and Administration teams, who are committed to delivering aged care services thoughtfully and with a real concern for each resident.
Staff are encouraged to actively practice Kalyra's values and are supported by best-practice continuing education. Many staff members have completed health related courses and Kalyra Woodcroft also provides a placement for students from TAFE Colleges, training agencies and schools. Care is taken to afford personal freedom and privacy to each of the residents, combined with the delivery of care which is based on a holistic approach from an interdisciplinary team.
