A place to call home
Windsor Park Aged Care Home is made up of two houses – one which provides specialised care programs for residents with complex care needs. Both houses have large activity rooms, quiet rooms, lounge rooms and extensive, shaded gardens with outdoor barbecue areas.
In 2016, Windsor Park was recognised for its exceptional program to provide culturally appropriate care to Aboriginal people, receiving a Commonwealth Better Practice Award. The highly regarded national award highlighted the initiative which had been developed over the past decade in partnership with the Dementia Training Study Centre and researchers at Curtin University.
Our compassionate care staff ensure that our residents feel at home, and encourage them to stay as active and independent as possible, Our activity program includes bus trips, visiting entertainers, and celebrations for Melbourne Cup, Easter, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Christmas and the AFL Grand Final, as well as a happy hour every Friday.
Centrally located and just 15 minutes’ drive from the city, Windsor Park is easily accessible by bus & train. Friends and relatives are welcome to visit at any time for a cup of tea and a chat, and there are parks and a coffee shop close by that are perfect for outings.
In recognition of our exceptional standards of care and services, Windsor Park is fully accredited by the Australian Government.
