Agmaroy is a fully accredited residential facility offering permanent and respite accommodation for older people with complex care needs. The home also offers palliative care and dementia support. Agmaroy is located in the Perth suburb of Wilson, close to the banks of the Canning River and can accommodate 60 residents.
The home has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and features three wings, called Leach, Bungaree and Mason, each with a dining room and lounge areas. Companion rooms in Leach and Bungaree wings provide company for our residents, and there are single and twin rooms in Mason wing with private ensuites.
The 24-hour care provided at Agmaroy by Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses & Carers is complemented by a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Podiatrist, Therapy Assistants & Activity Coordinators. An Optometrist, Dentist and Hairdresser visit the home regularly. Clergy of diverse religions & cultures also attend.
Family members are encouraged to visit as often as they like and catch up with their loved one in one of the patio areas surrounded by lush gardens, or one of the spacious shared areas within the home. Visitors are also welcomed for meals, outings, activities and special events.
The residents enjoy a varied activities schedule, consisting of social events, craft sessions, games such as bingo and Scrabble and pamper sessions that beauty therapy, nail care, hand massages and aromatherapy.
From Hall & Prior’s central kitchen, the executive Chef, Sous Chef & Dietitian create menus that provide variety and maximum nutritional value without compromising on taste. Hall & Prior offer choices of hot and cold meals, cater for allergies, intolerances and culturally specific needs, and create a special menu for a theme day each month.
