Fairview Village is a not-for-profit, community based organisation which has been providing services to the elderly in the Warragul area for over sixty years. Warragul is located just an hours drive East of Melbourne along the Princes Highway, and is located centrally to the Mount Baw Baw snow fields, the South Gippsland coast and the gourmet region of West Gippsland. A regular bus service from Fairview Village into the township of Warragul and return, operates on a daily basis.
Fairview Village comprises 82 unit retirement villas, 16 independent living apartments and also offers respite care and community aged care packages. All services are located on the one site.
The retirement village at Fairview caters for more elderly retirees who need more specific aged friendly design incorporated into their accommodation. Two and three bedroom units and apartments are designed with wider corridors, no steps, hand rails already fitted in bathrooms and toilets, an emergency nurse call system is available. Village residents are also encouraged to become part of the wider Fairview community and to participate in the regular events which occur. Pets are welcome.
A comprehensive lifestyle program provides the opportunity for residents to socially engage in a broad range of activities.
At Fairview Village we pride ourselves on being able to say to all residents who choose to live here, regardless of their stage of life, that we will be able to accommodate and care for them for the rest of their lives. This is because of the integrated suite of services which Fairview Village offers across the ageing spectrum, which are delivered from excellent facilities by highly skilled and committed staff.
