Estia Health Encounter Bay

Estia Health Encounter Bay is only a 10 minute walk to the beach, near to public transport and offers onsite parking. 

The home has several comfortable lounge areas, two large dining areas and private function rooms. A games room including a pool table, a computer room, a hairdressing salon, cinema room, gym room and a library room are just some of the features of the home. Regular services are held in the onsite chapel. Outside the home residents enjoy beautiful landscaped gardens, a dedicated games space, barbecue areas with shading.

Estia Encounter Bay is classically elegant, with neutral tones and all the features and amenities of luxurious living. Moments from public transport, the single-level residence has a local café nearby as well as various tea and coffee facilities within. A dedicated library is always stocked with books and magazines, and the computer area is equipped with PCs and complimentary internet connection for our tech-savvy residents. The on-site salon and spa offer opportunities for weekly pampering, with staff fully trained in massage and our hairdresser visiting weekly. Cinema & cafe', grand piano, fifties diner, billiard table, games area, library, art centre, gym and chapel. Outdoors, our bowls green provides a venue for gentle exercise and enjoyment. And our residents can choose to spend time with friends or relax in quiet contemplation within our courtyards and landscaped surrounds.

Well-balanced and nutritious meals are freshly prepared and cooked on site under the supervision of our professional chefs. A wide variety of health and wellbeing programs, designed by qualified coordinators, are tailored to each resident’s personal needs. Allied health professionals such as physiotherapists and podiatrists are part of our support team, and hairdressers are on-site as required. Importantly, we offer exceptional levels of care and service. Our staff are on call 24 hours a day to help out where required or just to share a quiet chat. We also offer a secure memory support unit within each of our wings, dedicated to ongoing specialised care for those with higher care needs.

Within each of the wings are several lounge areas featuring classic furnishings, gas log fireplaces and flat screen televisions with Foxtel. Two large dining areas, equipped for fine dining, present refined seating arrangements, and there is opportunity for our residents to enjoy a quieter meal with family and friends in our private function rooms. Barbecue areas in the courtyard offer modern outdoor seating, a pergola and laserlite shading, providing a welcoming environment. Smaller secure courtyards, found throughout the home, allow our residents to safely enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the landscaped gardens, complete with flower beds and veggie patch.
