Overview
CFHP has experienced psychologists who provide adjunctive psychological services to NDIS participants.
These services are meant to help to:
- Preserve their levels of functioning
- Problem-solve around factors that could compromise functioning
- Ameliorate emotional distress and mood issues that may arise secondary to their disabilities
- Address relationship issues (i.e., intimate relationships, friendships, work relations etc.) that may arise secondary to their disabilities
- Adjust to new diagnoses / disabilities or lost in functioning
- Improve their motivation, focus, knowledge, skills, resilience, and decision making with daily activities.
Sessions can be conducted by:
- In-office sessions (Brisbane only)
- Online counselling services (Nationwide)
