At Beacon Support we provide home care and lifestyle support to the aged and disabled in our community.

We assist people to continue living in their own home by providing the right staff to suit the needs of yourself or a family member.

Our service is all about providing professional support and care to our clients in their own home from two to 24 hours per day, so you or your loved one is safe and well cared for in their home, day or night.

We are based just north of Brisbane and provide support from the Sunshine Coast to the Gold Coast and west to Toowoomba.

Under the supervision of our Registered Nursing staff and Client Management Team, our team of professional support staff are able to provide comprehensive support to:

• aged persons,
• people living with a disability,
• people who require short term care,
• people with complex or high medical needs,
• people undergoing rehabilitation, and
• those seeking palliative care in their own home.

Our staff can assist you with the following services:

• 24 hour on call response
• Assistance with medications (under the overall supervision of a Registered Nurse and strict administration procedures),
• Assistance with mobility,
• Basic housekeeping (vacuuming and cleaning),
• Clinical care as required on a regular basis to maintain the wellbeing of our client,
• Communication assistance – letters, emails etc.,
• Companionship - Taking the time to be there!
• Coordinating the services of other health professionals, as authorised by the responsible person,
• Laundry,
• Meal planning, preparation, serving and cleaning up,
• Medical appointments – Attending or assisting to attend medical or other types of appointment e.g. dental, counsellor,
• Personal hygiene care (showering, bathing and toileting),
• Shopping and other small errands as required,
• Social outings – Shopping, dining out or walks along the foreshore,
• Support with continence.
