At Barunga Village, we believe growing older should not mean giving up your independence.
Through Barunga Community Care, we support older South Australians to continue living safely, comfortably and confidently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Our services reach across the Yorke Peninsula and Mid North regions, offering care and support tailored to your needs and lifestyle.
We offer three levels of support:
You may be eligible for subsidised support through the Australian Government that exists to help you stay independent, healthy and connected in your community.
• Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) – Ideal for those who need just a little extra help around the home. Services might include cleaning, gardening, transport or help to stay connected socially.
• Support at Home program – A more comprehensive level of support, tailored to your personal circumstances. Services can include personal care, meal preparation, medication support, allied health and more.
• Private fee-for-service – We also offer private fee-for-service options for people who are not eligible for funding or who require additional support beyond their current funding.
Barunga Community Care offers group programs which are designed to promote social connection, mobility and confidence, supporting not just your physical health but your emotional wellbeing too.
Every client is matched with a dedicated Service Support Officer, so you always have a familiar point of contact who understands your needs.
