The Barossa region is known internationally for its premium quality wines, excellent food and bustling wine and tourism industry. It is also rapidly gaining recognition for its innovative approach to retirement housing and care.
With over 190 independent living units, Barossa Village is a not-for-profit organisation that has provided aged accommodation and services to our region for more than 55 years. Many retirees are finding that their large family homes and country properties are becoming too much work, and are looking for a manageable lifestyle that suits their desire to devote more time and energy to enjoy life with family and friends.
Our Lifestyle Club and other activity programs are an important link for residents to connect socially with their community.
Barossa Village offers a wide range independent retirement living options and support services. Our independent living units are available with three, two and one-bedrooms, and are located throughout the Barossa in the townships of Nuriootpa, Tanunda and Angaston. We also offer supported accommodation, in newly built units located adjacent to The Residency, our residential care home, in Nuriootpa.
