Overview
Australian Multicultural Community Services (AMCS) is a not-for-profit multicultural community care organisation with a mission to improve lives through care, support and empowerment. For over 40 years we have been providing reliable, genuine, culturally appropriate care for seniors to live independently and safely at home.
Our services include:
• Support At Home— from entry level to comprehensive care
• Social Support Groups — companionship & enjoyable activities and outings
• Centre-based Respite Programs - opportunity for carers to take a break and receive support
- Dementia Care & Support Centres - FREE program for both a loved one who is diagnosed with dementia, and their carer
• Transport - to appointments, shopping etc
• Care Management - advocacy, advice and support
• Allied Health — referrals to nursing care, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, health & wellness checks in your own home
