Anglicare Woodberry Residential Aged Care

Woodberry is a residential aged care home located on the same site as Anglicare’s Woodberry retirement living village. This home has sweeping views of the city skyline and Parramatta River valley and is a short walk to Winston Hills Shopping Centre and approximately 4kms from Westmead Hospital. With accommodation for 116 residents, each room has a private ensuite, some include a balcony and view.

Common areas

• Café: Located on level 3, it opens out to a large deck and has a lounge and fireplace.
• Chapel & activities room: Located on level 3, the chapel features beautiful stained-glass windows which open into a large activities room that has a piano, TV, kitchenette and library.
• Community room: Located on level 2 has a TV, kitchenette, shoot and shuffle table game. Opens to an outdoor terrace.
• Dining areas: Large central dining room on level 3 with natural light. Opens out to a covered alfresco area with BBQ facilities and a vegetable garden.
• Lounge and sitting areas: Lounge area with large flat-screen TV’s, magazines and books. Includes a kitchenette, reading nook and a computer kiosk.
• Hairdressing salon: Located on level 3 and includes a nail beauty treatment station. Services include a fee.
• Laundries: Staff do laundry at the on-site commercial laundry. Laundry facilities are available for resident use.
• Clinics: Doctors and physiotherapy rooms, gym and treatment rooms are located on level 2.
