Anglicare Southern Queensland is an approved Home Care Package provider and we’re here to help you and your loved ones maintain their independence at home through a range of aged care services including, but not limited to: nursing and allied health support, cleaning, homecare, personal care and household assistance.

We’re dedicated to offering you the support for the life you want. We know the process of applying for aged care funding or finding a service provider can be overwhelming and complicated, that’s where our Concierge team comes in. Our dedicated Concierge team will support you through the process of understanding services and determining which support you need to live the life you want. 

Home care

To help maintain your independence at home and to leave you more time to live the life you want, Anglicare will provide support with everyday household tasks. Home care services include assistance with:

• Bill paying & banking
• Shopping assistance
• Meal preparation
• Friendly visit/companionship
• Social activities & bus trips
• Personal care
• Home maintenance/modification
• Spiritual and pastoral care 

Home nursing

Anglicare nursing staff are here to support you or your loved ones to remain at home by offering a diverse range of in-home health and wellbeing services. Home nursing services include:

• Personal care
• Wound care
• Medication management
• Bladder/bowel care
• After hospital support
• Case management
• Dementia services
• End of life care
• Spiritual and pastoral care 

Lifestyle and wellbeing

We understand that everyone is different and so too is the path to wellbeing. That’s why our lifestyle and wellbeing programs support all aspects of your wellbeing, including your physical health, mental health and spiritual and social wellbeing. Our programs are designed to strengthen relationships and build new skills, helping you to live the life you want.

Our lifestyle and wellbeing programs include Tai Chi, exercise, craft, fishing and many more.

Home maintenance and modifications

Often a property that has been a family home or retirement residence is not suitable for in home care or assisted living. We can help get you ready for the next stage of life.

When you talk to our home maintenance and modification service about domiciliary care, you’ll find that we can help older people and those with a disability to access practical housing-related assistance so they can maintain their independence. Anglicare offers a range of services including free information and referrals for:

• Home maintenance
• Falls prevention
• Repairs and modifications
• Home security. 

Eligible clients may also receive subsidised assistance for minor home maintenance, repairs and modifications to improve health, safety and security.

Funding

Anglicare Southern Queensland can support full fee paying clients and a range of Government funding options including Home Care Packages (HCP) and Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) recipients.
