Tooth Memorial Residential Aged Care home and a series of modern, bungalow-style independent living units known as Lota Court. The large landscaped grounds also house the heritage listed Georgian-style Lota House. With the advantage of being positioned near the esplanade and bay shores, the onsite al fresco area is the ideal place to catch sea breezes off the bay.

E.M. Tooth provides excellent 24-hour nursing and care assistance for older Queenslanders. Special accommodation and recreational amenities are available for those with memory support care needs, and includes a large shaded outdoor area where residents can enjoy weekly picnics or participate in the activities program. The home is located on public transport routes.

Our leisure and lifestyle specialists coordinate a broad variety of activities with the residents. Pre-entry discussions and feedback from our residents helps our staff to identify leisure interests so our program can be tailored to suit preferences. E.M. Tooth provides an open environment for our residents including dedicated area kitchenettes and private lounge facilities that can be enjoyed by residents and their families. The home has recently been extended and refurbished through a $15m capital development project intended to make the facility more family-orientated and to enhance resident wellness and amenity. The work involved the construction of new rooms and the refurbishment of existing rooms. Other key features of the works include a memory support garden and a new service wing incorporating a new laundry, kitchen, storage and staff facilities.

A fully qualified spiritual and pastoral carer is available to provide spiritual support for both residents and their families.

The food we serve is carefully planned with nutrition, fresh produce, taste and variety in mind. We review menus regularly, run food focus groups and encourage feedback from our residents to understand what they like and if they have any new meal ideas. Our on-site full commercial kitchen provides freshly prepared meals, delivered to our dining areas. Special dietary requirements are catered for including individual and cultural needs.
