At Alzheimer’s WA we understand that everyone is different. Every person’s experience with dementia is different. That’s why our services are tailored to help you through your dementia journey.
We see you as a person before your diagnosis. We will support you to live in your own home for as long as you are able. We can help those around you understand how to support you too. Our services embrace your individuality and help to minimise the impacts of dementia.
Home and community respite
An opportunity for you to connect with someone who understands you, and to meet other people living with dementia. Respite also gives your carer a chance to have a break. Available in your home or at one of our Houses for a few hours, a few days, or anything in between (including overnight).
Social support groups
Social support groups provide an engaging and fun environment for people living with dementia. Ideal if you like to socialise, want to remain active in the community or make new friends. Available throughout the metropolitan area and in some regional areas.
Supporting you to continue living independently and engaging in the activities of your choice.
