As you pass through the entrance doors, the sheer expanse of The Vales becomes apparent. The ambience, of the first of many sitting rooms is embracing, as light streams through the towering curved glass panoramic floor to ceiling windows.

At The Vales, we value each and everybody’s independence. Routines that have endured a lifetime need not be forgotten at The Vales. We will try to accommodate personal requests, whether it is always starting the day with a cuppa, reading the paper in bed, attending social clubs, having a shower first thing, or a daily walk to the local shops. We are committed to providing all residents with opportunities to take part in individual activities, however we support residents in group social activities such as bingo, craft, cooking, lawn bowls, cards, happy hour and bus trips just to name a few!

A multitude of varying sized private single and double rooms are situated off the wide six wings of the facility, enabling you to choose a room that truly suits your, or your family member’s, needs & desires. It might be the magnificent Superior Deluxe Single Room with ensuite, designed to reflect the style of a five star hotel. This accommodation selection is superbly decorated with tonal soft furnishings and complete with everyday conveniences such as a room lamp, cosy reading chair, a bedside lamp, credenza and visitors chair. A tasteful large ensuite shares the same quality modern finishes and compliments our single room options. Or, as is being requested more often, you may prefer to choose one of our double room accommodation options.

The Vales will endeavour to best match residents who are sharing a room to provide the opportunity for companionship and mateship, which can prove vital in many cases to meeting an individual’s wellbeing needs. Double rooms are decorated in stunning fabrics in muted tones and are furnished with fully electric beds, side tables, over bed tables and comfy reading or visitors chairs. These rooms have privacy curtains and boast a vast ensuite, complete with modern fixtures and fittings.
