Residents and families can rest easy feeling secure in the knowledge the premises are well lit and protected by security night patrols.
External doors have alarms to alert staff of unauthorised movement, whilst the north wing is a safe and secure dementia ward. Here the staff encourage residents to succeed at tasks so their dignity, self respect and abilities are maintained. A calm atmosphere within a safe and secure ward environment ensures residents’ confusion and agitation are kept to a minimum.
Resident comfort and security are major considerations at Warrigal Warilla. Accommodation consists of double, four and some five bed wards, whilst seven single rooms allow the resident and the caring team the privacy certain situations may require.
Each resident has his or her own bed, side table, wardrobe, chair and communal toilets and showers.
