St Catherine’s aged care residence exudes the charm of a beautiful Balwyn homestead built in 1904.
Dedicated, professional and compassionate staff provide care tailored to each of our 89 resident’s physical, social, cultural and spiritual needs.
A happy and friendly atmosphere is evident from the frequent laughter and active involvement in the social program, based on the interests of residents and enriched by the contributions of friendly and loyal volunteers. These include music recitals, fitness groups, large screen cinema shows, mind games, coffee shop, art and craft, knitting group, men’s group, computer/iPad group and regular excursions. A chapel is used for regular services and quiet reflection and is available at all times.
We cater for a variety of tastes with our balanced and freshly prepared menu options, including special dietary requirements. Family and friends are welcome to stay for meals at a small charge.
Single rooms with ensuites, as well as shared rooms, are available.
