Nestled in a quiet street overlooking a reserve, VMCH Aged Care Berwick is a modern residence with interconnecting homes, each consisting of 14 to 16 residents. Each home is self-sufficient with a kitchen, lounge, dining room and laundry. All bedrooms are of a generous size with full ensuite facilities.
An exceptional activity program includes social outings, art/craft activities, reminiscing groups, exercise groups, men’s group, music therapy, live entertainment and more.
A series of secure, landscaped, interconnecting courtyards, together with generous garden surrounds, offer a peaceful environment for all residents. Several of the residents have bird feeders outside their bedroom windows to attract the vivid birdlife in the area.
In February 2013, Casey House at the VMCH aged care facilities in Berwick opened its doors. This 16-bed wing joined another recently refurbished 60-bed aged care residence, to increase the specialised care it provides.
Berwick, at the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges, is a pleasant suburb set amid open spaces with an abundance of bird life. It is close to public transport and Fountain Gate Shopping Centre.
