Keep healthy and well
Healthy Living for Seniors offers activities and get-togethers for people aged 65 and over (or 50 years and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders).
Whether you want to build your computer skills, put on your dancing shoes, try your hand at painting or have lunch with friends, there’s something for everyone.
Activities may include:
• Discovering interesting places
• Exercise activities
• Interest groups
• Learning new skills
• Arts and crafts
• Activities to support a healthy and active mind.
Our aim is to have some fun while boosting your wellbeing and independence. If there are activities, interests or hobbies that are meaningful to you, let us know. We would love to incorporate them into your Healthy Living for Seniors program. Depending on what you’re keen to try, the activities may be run at our centre or through other community groups. We also offer a specialised program to people living with dementia, in some areas.
