Tony Quinlan Day and Overnight Respite Centre
For people living with dementia who wish to remain at home, located a short distance from Fremantle, the Tony Quinlan Respite Centre offers valuable support to the local area for carers of people in later life, and those living with dementia. Services have been specifically designed as an alternative to traditional respite centres by creating a ‘home away from home’ which is warm, comfortable and welcoming. Our services can be used as a once off service or on a regular basis. We also offer carer support sessions to help people in similar situations connect & learn about practical tools & resources to help carers enjoy a quality and balanced life.
Mind and Memory Support
Our specialist dementia care team is on hand to assess and guide you on behaviours and living environments to improve the function, independence and wellbeing of a person living with dementia as well as their carers. We will put in place the right strategies and care plan to help understand and manage the complexities of dementia to assist clients to live life to the full.
Options to Access Day and Overnight Respite
If you have been approved for a government funded home care package, in home support or centre based respite programs are available to assist people with dementia and their families with additional support to keep their brain active and health resilient, whilst also allowing carers a much needed break.
You may also access respite services using Commonwealth Home Support Funding (CHSP) previously known as HACC. We also offer casual and ongoing private services for respite.

Getting to know you is important to us. Your dedicated Wellness Partner will spend time to learn your interests and goals to develop a health and wellness care plan. Ongoing, you will continue receive support and education for all stages of dementia, including Alzheimer’s Disease.
