Our clinical team includes Registered Nurses Division 1 and Enrolled Nurses as well as qualified Personal Care Attendants. Each resident has their own care plan which is developed in conjunction with the resident and their family. This ensures all needs are met in a way that suits the individual.
Our approach to planning care includes involving the resident’s choice of Doctor and other specialist healthcare providers such as Physiotherapist, Podiatrist, Dietitian, Speech Pathologist and Occupational Therapist. All clinical decisions are evidenced based and governed by our Clinical Coordinator and team of Registered Nurses.
Our Lifestyle team ensures social activities are included in daily life at the Bays Aged Care. Choice is offered with all activities and events throughout the year. You can witness family & friendship connections & fun and laughter amongst the residents living here when you visit. Our Lifestyle team schedules a wide range of social and therapy activities.
We provide private accommodation for single residents or couples and also twin room accommodation with a mix of ensuite arrangements set around spacious private and communal lounge areas and secure courtyard gardens perfect for those seeking a calm and comfortable haven. All rooms offer a pleasant courtyard or garden outlook.. Our lounge area incorporates a dining room, billiard room, library and an internet café. We also offer more intimate lounge and TV areas.
We offer a secured dementia service that delivers specialised dementia care. Our team is skilled in identifying the clinical hallmarks of dementia and provides high quality, respectful and individual care from early stage to late stage dementia, all within a quiet and calm environment.
Our resident meals are cooked by our onsite Chef and are intended to provide nourishment, support good physical and mental health and recognise not only the dietary needs but also has a strong focus on how the food tastes, presents and is delivered to each resident.
