World Lymphoma Awareness Day
To mark this year’s World Lymphoma Awareness Day – 15 September – a new Australian documentary entitled, Journey Through Lymphoma: Finding New Horizons, has been produced in which three Australians share their personal experience of living with the disease.
The number of Australians diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma is projected to increase by more than 30% between 2002-2011. The Leukaemia Foundation says despite this significant projected increase, general awareness about this type of cancer is relatively low.
