Women’s Health Expo

Women’s Health Expo at Rosehill Racecourse this weekend is the first event of its kind to be held in Sydney. It aims to service the needs of the women in discovering the latest information, research and developments in health, well being and healing.

The Women’s Health Expo will be an integrated and interactive environment, catering to different groups of women and their health and well being needs.

Issues affecting women of all ages will be covered – including heart disease, osteoporosis, diabetes and cancer.

Breastscreen NSW will be promoting its life-saving screening service aimed at women aged from 50 to 69 years. Visit the mobile Breastscreen van and discover why early detection is the best protection.

The Royal Hospital for Women will also have an Information Centre.

Tests at a discount price will be available for:
Bone density (osteoporosis) – $15
Total cholesterol + blood glucose + blood pressure – $15
Total cholesterol + blood glucose + blood pressure + bone density – $20
Entry is $15 for adults, $6 for Seniors Card holders, and children are free.

Expos will also be held in Melbourne, Adelaide and Canberra.
