WA seniors encouraged to apply for rebate

Western Australian Seniors Card holders will soon be up to $100 better off through the State Government’s cost of living rebate.

The rebate is $100 a year for single Seniors Card holders and $150 for couples living in the same household. Application forms for seniors have been  mailed out.

The payment will be made each year and adds to the concessions already available to WA Seniors Card holders.

Anyone who meets the eligibility criteria but does not have a Seniors Card, can apply before 31 March 2009 to receive the rebate.

For more information phone the Seniors Card hotline weekdays from 9am to 3pm on (08) 6217 8855 (1800 671 233 for country callers).
