Volunteers wanted for Future of Volunteering project
The Future of Volunteering project is researching why people volunteer in all kinds or ways, so that government and volunteering organizations can gain a better understanding of how they can attract, retain and regain volunteers.
The project is seeking the experiences of people who volunteer, people who manage and use volunteers and people who fund volunteering organisations. It will identify and report on the common themes and patterns which emerge.
Even those who have not volunteered previously can still provide useful insights, and they are also invited to fill in the on-line survey.
As a reward for ‘volunteering’ participants can enter a draw to win a choice of either iPod/gift voucher (valued at $300), or one of 20 double movie passes at the conclusion of the survey.
All stories are treated as anonymous. However, organisers are seeking consent to use stories – without attributing or identifying the individual.
