Victorian senior awards

Nominations have opened for the Premier’s Award for the Victorian Senior of the Year 2007 and forms can be arranged through Seniors Information Victoria on 1300 135 090.

The Victorian Government is asking people to nominate a senior Victorian aged 60 or over who has made an extraordinary difference to their local area and celebrates the contributions senior Victorians make to their communities.

Each person nominated for the Premier’s Award is also considered for the Council on the Ageing Victorian Senior Achiever Awards.

Nominations close on 17 August, 2007, and the 2007 awards will be presented at a reception at Government House on 4 October.
