The New Inventors: Managing incontinence in nursing homes

The popular ABC TV show, The New Inventors, on Wednesday 3 September, is looking at a new product to assist with managing incontinence in nursing homes.
Sim Pad is an incontinence pad with built-in sensors that notify staff when a pad needs to be changed.
The system allows accurate data on the frequency and amount of toilet events to be sent to a mobile phone, information which can then be used by nursing staff to prepare a urinary continence care plan for the patient.
