Tender for web service to host an aged care research website

The Department of Health and Ageing has issued a tender for a web service to host an aged care research website. The purpose of the proposed site is to disseminate information about ageing research and to encourage collaboration among researchers on ageing matters.

Organisations that wish to tender will need to address the department’s evaluation criteria in the specified format. The successful bidder will need to provide telephone support, around-the-clock onsite hardware support and a high level of physical and network security.

The contract is expected to last from 1 August 2009 to 30 June 2011, with a possible 12 month extension.
