Tas government pushes for three year plan for home and community care
Advocacy Tasmania has described as promising the state government’s push to create a new three-year plan for its Home and Community Care program.
The government is calling for public comment on a new consultation paper for the program, which provides services for people with disabilities and their carers, and the aged.
The CEO of Advocacy Tasmania, Ken Hardaker, says a three-year funding agreement is a good start, and will provide more security and direction for welfare services.
