Tas budget delivers mixed bag for seniors
Seniors in Tasmania have been handed a mixed bag after the budget was released last week. The big win out of the budget was the significant increase in ambulance funding as well as funding for a transport service for seniors.
However, National Seniors Association was disappointed that the budget decreased funding for workforce participation initiatives and also failed to address problem gambling, stamp duty concessions for seniors and funding for oral health.
