Tall Trees Redland Bay close to sell out

Seniors from around southeast Queensland have been snatching up apartments at Tall Trees Redland Bay at a rapid rate.

The construction of the 39 apartment care community was completed in August 2011 and almost all of its stock is sold.

Sales consultant, Ian Mundey, was selling three units per month September to December last year.

Tall Trees cofounder, Phil Usher, says in an unprecedented sales run, only three units remain in the current stage.

“Most of the apartments were snapped up when we approached potential buyers who had previously expressed their interest in moving into other Tall Trees communities,” Mr Usher says.

“We always knew that the apartments at Redland were going to sell quite quickly given the proximity to the bay, the quiet location and the quality and size of the rooms.

“Our feature packed apartments at all five Tall Trees locations are at least 60-80 sqm with safety features integrated into their design, while room sizes in nursing homes are typically 20 square metres.”

Mr Usher says the near sell out is due to the combination of a sought after location with all levels of aged care provided into residents’ homes as they require it.

“We provide affordable services from low care right through to complex high care, including transition, dementia specific and palliative care, so there’s no need to move again.

“Tall Trees is like living at home where you retain control, your dignity and your independence, but with the addition of 24/7 professional nursing and domestic care, on site if required.”

A number of Redland Bay residents moved in with their lifelong partners because they love the location on the bay and they know they won’t be separated if they require different levels of care, Mr Usher claims.

He adds “with such a swift uptake on our homes with care at Redland Bay”, they are anticipating that people will soon jump to the opportunity to buy straight off the plan.

“With only three apartments left, we expect to finalise sales in the first stage of the development very soon and begin construction to further expand the community,” he says.

Tall Trees is in the process of getting the next stage underway to build more new homes.

“The sales rate of the current apartments truly exceeded our expectations so we look forward to opening up the next stage and adding more residents to the Tall Trees family,” Mr Usher says.
