Sydney shire develops information on older people mixing drinking and medication

Hornsby Shire Council in Sydneyhas developed a DVD, Message in a Bottle, on the health risks in older people of using alcohol while taking medication.
Developed and funded by members of Hornsby Shire Seniors Advisory Committee, Community Drug Action Team and NSW Health, the DVD is provided free of charge to training organisations and groups with an interest in education of older people.
