Services available to veterans in care

The Department of Veterans’ Affairs has launched a National Carers Support Service (NCSS) for the veteran and ex-services community across Australia.
NCSS is aimed at helping carers to enhance their own health and wellbeing while caring for others.
Services include interactive educational opportunities, community development initiatives and events that encourage social connectiveness.
If you have carers of veterans in your services you may wish to inform them of this service which can be accessed through Carer Association in New South Wales & Australian Capital Territory or phone 1800 242 636.
