Many parts of Australia celebrate Seniors’ Week during October. There are hundreds of events planned for Western Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.

As some of these require bookings, now is the time to check your local calendar of events.

For WA events, check the BankWest Seniors’ Week page at:  www.seniorscard.wa.gov.au.

For Tasmanian events, call the Seniors’ Bureau on 1300 13 55 13, or select Seniors’ Week on: www.dpac.tas.gov.au

Victorian Seniors’ Festival programs are now available at Coles supermarkets, libraries and 54 neighbourhood houses.

For more details about the program phone 1800 136 762 or visit: www.seniors.vic.gov.au/seniorsfestival

Council websites may also provide details of local events.
