Senior voices heard in Bathurst, NSW

Communities in the Bathurst area of New South Wales have identified transport as a major issue for seniors in the area, according to a local study undertaken by Charles Sturt University and reported in the Bathurst Western Advocate.

The Charles Sturt University project is an initiative to uncover ageing issues in the local community.

Seniors and aged care providers in and around Bathurst were studied to gauge the impact of ageing on the rural and regional areas.

Transport has been selected as a long term research project to improve the lives of local seniors.
