Safety seminar in Melbourne on 5 August

A seminar on safety for people with dementia will be held on 5 August in Melbourne as part of National Missing Person’s Week.
The seminar is targeted at families and friends caring for a person with dementia as well as individuals in the health and aged care sector.
The guest speaker is Inspector Jill Wood of Victoria Police. The seminar will discuss issues relevant to older people, including ‘missing from home’ safety strategies.
The seminar is on from 5.15pm to 6.15pm, University of Melbourne at the Cinema on 442 Auburn Rd, Hawthorn.
