SA organ donation rate best in Australia

South Australia has the highest rate of organ donation in the country, currently at 20 donors for every million people, compared to the national rate of 11 donors per million people.
Last year 33 people donated organs in South Australia, resulting in 105 transplants.
Health Minister, John Hill, said the number of organ donors in South Australia is almost double the national rate.
