Residents could be eligible for free ceiling insulation
The Retirement Village Association of Australia (RVA) is encouraging its members to assist residents by seeing if they are eligible for the Government’s free ceiling insulation for independent living units (ILU’s). RVA has endorsed a scheme by DCM Insulation.
The Federal Government’s Energy Efficient Home Package funds up to $1,200 per home for ceiling insulation – which covers the cost of most village ILU’s because they are smaller than the average dwelling.
Ceiling insulation cuts electricity bills by around 40%. The energy savings achieved make it the most effective sustainability action one can implement.
DCM Insulation is the preferred Marketing Partner of the RVA, and will make a contribution of $20 to RVA for each ILU installed. DCM Insulation has accredited installers across Australia ready to provide a quote – as is now required by the Federal Government.
