Residents can stay on in former Village Life Retirement Homes
An eleventh hour arrangement will enable the 400 elderly residents in 10 retirement villages formerly administered by Village Life to continue
renting their residences.
The residents in NSW, Victoria, Western Australia and Tasmania had been told to vacate their residences by the end of May because of a dispute between former owners, Village Life, who had continued to manage the villages, and the new owner MFS Diversified Group.
MFS, which still has a 19.9% share in Village Life, has announced
that another company, SCV Group, has signed a 25 year deal to take over as manager.
